Flor de Caña 12 Years is a sustainable premium rum from Nicaragua with 40% vol. alcohol. It is produced in a climate-neutral manner and is Fair Trade certified.
The full-bodied Flor de Caña 12 Years captivates with aromas of red fruits, honey and roasted nuts on the nose. On the palate, notes of wood, vanilla and baked apple combine to create a soft and finely balanced finish.
Flor de Caña 12 Years is distilled with 100% renewable energy. It is stored in bourbon barrels and matured without the addition of sugar, the color shade is reddish amber. Connoisseurs drink it at 16-19°C or as an Old Fashioned Cocktail.
The success story of the "flower of sugar cane" goes back over 130 years. The company is now run by the fifth generation of the family. Since its founding in 1890, the distillery has been located at the foot of San Cristóbal, the highest and most active volcano in Nicaragua.
